Widening the horizon

Curiosity

It kills me, like a poison.
Quickly going through my blood stream.

My toes begin to tingle and turn cold,
as it works its way up my legs.

It dwells inside my stomach,
gurgling and excited.

Working its way through to my windpipe,
suffocating me.

It strangles my neck,
and doesn't let go.

The poison has taken effect,
my body is overwhelmed
